Among those in support of Smart Skies goals of reducing delays and cancellations by modernizing the air traffic control system, stopping the unfair financial burdens on passengers, requiring corporate jets to pay their fair share of taxes, addressing skyrocketing fuel prices and maintaining the world’s safest transportation system more than one hundred thousand individuals; members of the Air Transport Association of America (ATA), whose member airlines transport more than 90 percent of all U.S. airline passenger and cargo traffic; and other airline-related companies.
